“We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel MONday at Asakusa. On the day we checked in, we arrived a couple hours earlier than expected. The staff was very understanding and offered to keep our luggage in the lobby until it was time to check-in at 3:00 PM. This allowed us to explore the surrounding area and eat ramen for lunch at a nearby restaurant on Hisago St. which is right next door to the hotel. Thanks to the staff, we didn’t have to worry about where our luggage was since they kept it safe. We noticed other guests did the same thing and left their suitcases in the care of the employees. If you have a chance, we recommend spending at least one morning to enjoy the breakfast buffet. You need to buy a ticket for this meal, but guests may purchase it on the same day. Our favorite food items at the buffet were the tamagoyaki (rolled egg omelette), hitsumabushi (eel and rice), noodles, and miso soup! There were also plenty of other delicious Western-styled food items available as well such as sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, cereal, and pastries. Another reason why we liked hotel MONday at Asakusa is because it is walking distance from several different landmarks in Tokyo: it is only a 5-minute walk to the Sen-sōji Temple, Kaminarimon Gate, and the Nakamise street shops and food vendors. We were shocked after walking a short distance from the hotel and saw the temple on our right. That’s how close it is. Additionally, it is less than a 10-minute

We love that we had enough space for 5 people. It was very near to 2 train stations. We were early for check in but they took us anyway.

The staff is very friendly and the property is fairly close to all the tourist spots. Room was clean and was very spacious. Had a very pleasant experience and would recommend to anyone.

Very clean and comfortable stay, with very helpful staff

This is a really nice room. I only stayed for a couple days but I would have been very comfortable here for an extended stay. The kitchen is very well equipped - you get a fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, induction hob, pots, pans, rice cooker, cups (hot and cold), plates, bowls, utensils, even paper towels, and plastic wrap. The room also has an in-unit washer/dryer, and even a little vacuum. There's also a large table which was nice (many hotels, even aparthotels have tiny tables). The room I had included a bunk and a couch, and a "king" sized bed (which is two twin mattresses stuck together, but that wasn't a problem). The bed was firm but comfortable. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in between Akihabara station and Asakusabashi station, so you'll be walking for a few minutes to get on the train. It's convenient to Senso-ji, Skytree, and Akihabara. There are also konbini's, a little grocery store, and plenty of restaurants nearby.
